Tis the Season…

December has arrived!  It’s definitely our favorite time of year!  (but we always say that)    P1060677-001

We have cut our Christmas tree with the Baldridge Family for the past 15 years!  It sure is a lot of fun to go on a quest thru the forest to find the perfect trees!

We all found our trees and the boy’s carried them out of the forest…is that Santa following us?

We got our tree all decorated and that evening went upstairs to watch the movie “Christmas Vacation”  as we came downstairs we were laughing about all the bad things that happened to their Christmas tree in the movie…only to find ours on the ground!  We laughed so hard!

Thanksgiving 2012

Today was Thanksgiving and we had a beautiful day outside and inside eating yummy food and enjoying having our families together!  Trent and Ben worked hard getting our annual Turkey Shoot ready with targets for shooting, bow and arrow and throwing knives.  Laura and Lance won the “big” prize for their superior shooting skills!

The prizes were big this year and Jay was a pretty serious competitor!

Mexico – November 2012

Trent and I celebrated my birthday 11-11 in Nuevo Vallarta, Mexico.    We love Mexico in November as it is HOT, un-crowded and the ocean is warm.  Great memories here!

Halloween 2012

We loved loved loved having our kids/grandkids here this year for Halloween!  We had such a blast and tried to fit every possible “fun” thing into our evening!  We trick or treated downtown Poulsbo, went to Trunk or Treat at the church, took kids to a favorite neighborhood and they got loads of candy.  The boys loved running house to house and of course Darth Vader protected us.

Birthday and Bringing in the last of the Pumpkins etc.P1060070-001

Miss Sophie is 7 months old today….couldn’t resist sitting her among 7 pumpkins in a row…

Allison made me my favorite chocolate cheesecake for my birthday!  My little helper’s Ben and Ryan loved it too…it didn’t last long!

We painted, sparkled etc. our pumpkins this year.  Love this “fall” time of year!
