It is hard to believe it is already October! The calendar says it but we feel like it’s still should be August. We’ve had the most beautiful sunny no rain stretch since the 1800’s in fact 82 day’s in a row so we have been enjoying every second of it. Here’s what we’ve been up to:
In July we had everyone home! We had a blast together and the boy’s loved playing together. We went crabbing, to lots of parks, beaches and picinics. Julie Rencher’s wedding was the highlight.
Mercedes and Ben kyacking with a Alaska Cruise ship
Ashlee and Uly
A warm beautiful afternoon/evening at Port Townsend.
Hanging out in the backyard.
Three little Monkey’s (Oliver, Ryan and Ben) at the Zoo!
A really fun day at the Woodland Park Zoo in Seattle. Perfect day with everyone!
We went to the Mount St. Helens Visitor’s Center which was a wonderful day trip! We then traveled down the beautiful Oregon Coast with Ashlee, Uly and Oliver. We hiked, shopped, ate yummy food at little diner’s along the coast and of course to the Tillamook Cheese Factory!
Day trip to Dungeness Spit in Sequim WA. Beautiful hike, beautiful beach.
Flowers from the yard/garden.
Sophie at 6 months! She loves her Momma.
Ryan and Allison at Fay Bainbridge State Park. We love this park on Sunday Afternoons.
Fishermen with their catch of the day: Trent, Lance Steve Gard and Jay
Apple Picking Day! This apple tree was full of beautiful red apples and mysteriously 1/2 disappeared over a few day’s time due to a friendly deer who came by and helped himself.
Jay pulling a load of veges and little boys! We harvested apples, potatoes, onions, carrots, corn etc. and have a whole pumpkin patch waiting to harvest in a few weeks for Halloween!
Miss Sophie is getting so big although she’s still a tiny little thing at 7 months. We sure love this little princess!
Jay and Trent have had a lot of fun Salmon fishing and we went with them in the evenings several times and watched and let the kids play on the beach. We’ve enjoyed some yummy salmon dinner’s! Let’s go fishing!
This huge Falcon landed on the tippy top of this pine tree at the end of our garden.
This is the boy’s favorite activity of all! Tractor/wagon rides!
We went to Snowflake Arizona (pic’s below) to a wedding/Rencher reunion.

Melanie and I in front of her new home in Phoenix.
Sedona Arizona was so amazing, we had never been there. Our grandson’s would have loved it because the movie “Cars” was drawn from this town, everywhere you looked it was the “Cars” movie, the mountains, roads etc. So fun!
This Vintage Dairy Queen was in Holbrook Arizona and is one of the first D.Q’s! We loved their Pumpkin Pie Blizzard’s esepcially when it was so hot there! Yummy!
The Rencher Farm is so beautiful and we loved seeing our Arizona Family!
